The meeting of the State Contractors’ Board was called to order by Executive Officer Margi Grein at 9:07 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 1999, State Contractors Board, Reno Nevada. Exhibit A is the Meeting Agenda.

PRESENT FOR THE MEETING:

The purpose of the meeting was to hear a proposed regulation change to NAC 624.130

Ms. Grein stated the hearing notice had been posted, in compliance with NRS 233B, the open meeting law, on December 7, 1998, at the Las Vegas City Hall, Sawyer City Building, Clark County Library, Washoe County Court House, Washoe County Library, Reno City Hall, and in each office of the Board in Las Vegas and in Reno.

A workshop to solicit comment on the proposed amendment had been held on November 5, 1998 at the office of the board, 9670 Gateway Drive, Suite 100, Reno, Nevada.

The regulation amends NAC 624.130 (Fees) by increasing the application and license/renewal fees per Exhibit B, the proposed regulation.

The time was now 9:09 a.m. The meeting time had been set for 9:00 a.m., this date.

PUBLIC COMMENT

No one from the general public was present to comment either for or against the proposed change.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by Ms. Grein at 9:09 a.m.
