QUALIFIED EMPLOYEE VERIFICATION
The Nevada State Contractors Board is responsible for ensuring that all contractor license records contain accurate and up to date information. Commencing in 2008, we have instituted a “Qualified Employee Verification” form for each licensee’s “Qualified Employee” to complete. The completed form will be provided with your contractor license renewal application and each person listed on the renewal as a “Qualified Individual” must complete a verification form. You may be required to make copies of the form if you have more than one qualified individual. The purpose of requesting the “Qualified Employee Verification” is to confirm that each person who has been designated “Qualified Employee” of a licensee is knowledgeable of the Qualified Employee responsibilities outlined in Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 624.260. In addition, if a “Qualified Employee” is no longer associated with or employed by the licensee for whom he qualifies the license, the Board must be notified in writing within 10 days under the provisions of NRS 624.285. We appreciate your cooperation in completing the “Qualified Employee Verification” to help our office ensure that the license records on file with the Board are complete and contain correct information.
