Sting Houses Needed
The Nevada State Contractors Board needs homes for future sting sites. Those interested in volunteering their home to help catch unlicensed contractors in the act should call the Investigations Unit at (702) 486-1160 or (775) 850-7838.
NSCB conducts undercover sting operations throughout the state. Each sting requires NSCB undercover investigators to set up a predetermined home site and pose as homeowners interested in contracting for home improvement projects.
The actual homeowners are never present for the stings and the home address is not publicized with the sting results.
